On November 3, an event of the library twilight "Center for Cognition and Communication" was held for the guests of the Central Library. As part of the event, a thematic quiz “Our strength is in unity” was prepared, dedicated to the upcoming state holiday, National Unity Day. The participants of the event got acquainted with the history of the holiday, one of the youngest public holidays in Russia (celebrated since 2005), watched the film "Day of National Unity" and answered the quiz questions on the topic. All participants of the quiz received leaflets "National Unity Day".

The slogan of the action in 2015 - "Art unites" also emphasizes the unity of all types of art, multi-genre, which is one of the main themes of this year's action. Also, a special place in the concept of the action is occupied by the transition from the Year of Literature to the Year of Cinema in 2016.

At the end of the library twilight, a film screening and discussion of a feature film based on G. Shcherbakova’s story “You never even dreamed” took place in the reading room. “You never dreamed of” is the most famous story by Galina Shcherbakova, filmed by Ilya Frez and became a hit in the Soviet film distribution! The story of Katya and Roma captivated millions of viewers forever. The first love that parents do not approve of can become a tragedy ... After the end of the film, a lively discussion of the film took place, the guests of the evening shared their opinion about the film, their feelings for the main characters, as well as fantasies about their future fate.

All friends in Intersettlement Library expected a warm welcome, hot tea and interesting activities.

The main event was Yesenin's readings about the life and work of the poet Sergei Yesenin “Yesenin. The Art of Loving. The library staff told the guests about the difficult life path of the poet, his hobbies, his relationships with his contemporaries, and, of course, with all his beloved women. The story was accompanied by a declaration of poems by Sergei Yesenin and the performance of songs based on his poems, which were presented by members of the veterans' choir "Red Carnation" - V.N. A presentation of a new collection of poems "On the Waves of Memory" by our fellow countrywoman, a great friend of the Intersettlement Library, the wonderful poetess Lyubov Fyodorovna Nikiforova, was held. On this occasion, all the guests were shown a video film, and later, the poetess herself spoke a little about her new book, read her poems and presented the collection to the Intersettlement Library.

Traditionally, for all admirers of the book, a book-illustrative exhibition "And the connection of times is indissoluble" was organized, which presented the most valuable books from the collection of the Intersettlement Library, books published in the first half of the 20th century.

The subscription included exhibitions of masters of arts and crafts: paintings, jewelry, toys - all this was painstakingly created by the masters of the Dinskoy region.

Master classes were also held there for everyone to create handicrafts with their own hands.

Also, all library guests became participants in a literary quiz. Throughout the library, one could find leaflets with questions, answering which everyone received valuable prizes.

Together with the teachers of the children's art school, a festive concert was held, in which everyone's favorite poems and songs about autumn sounded.

Against the background of classical music, the guests listened to the story of the library staff about the work of poets of the Silver Age. Those present read poems by famous poets: Yesenin, Bunin, Tyutchev, Balmont, Pasternak. The poetic marathon was supported by the poets of the literary club "Elegy" by reading several of their poems.

On Friday, November 7, the Vorotyn Central Library presented itself in a new perspective. We have repeatedly proved that the library is not only a place where you can take books home, but also a cultural, informational, and communicative center. With its next action “Night of the Arts”, the library confirmed that caring, creative people work in it, with interesting ideas and plans, and we can spend time with benefit, learn a lot of new things, meet like-minded people. Art Night is a time for creativity and a continuation of projects such as Museum Night and Library Night.

The action "Night of the Arts" is held, first of all, so that people can join the art and try to realize their own creative potential - play the guitar, draw pictures, write poetry, sing.

We decided to organize a "pilot" project and were pleasantly surprised that, despite the rain, gloomy weather, caring, creative, inquisitive, beloved visitors, participants and just spectators came to us. The evening's program was varied and rich.

And our acquaintance began with an exhibition of paintings, which were comfortably placed on the walls of the reading room and the corridor of the library. Original artists kindly agreed to provide their beautiful works: Anatoly Fedorovich Vasiliev from the village. Kriushi and his daughter Elena Anatolyevna Vasilyeva. Anatoly Fedorovich graduated from an aviation school, served in the Ministry of Internal Affairs, is engaged in beekeeping, has been fond of drawing since childhood.

Love for nature left its mark on his work, where the main motive is nature and its inhabitants. Elena Anatolyevna graduated from the Agricultural Academy and postgraduate studies. Timiryazeva, candidate of economic sciences, works as a deputy. Dean of the Faculty of Service and Tourism NGIEI. Their paintings are filled with life, each work is work, it is inspiration, it is the skill of the author. The exhibition will last for a month, so we will be glad to everyone who wants to visit our library and get acquainted with the creativity and art of people who live near us. Next, a master class awaited us: "New Year's souvenir with your own hands" from Natalia Kamneva and "Candy bouquet" from Tatiana Egorova.

This art of hands did not leave indifferent neither the students of the NGIEI faculty, nor the people of the older generation. Everyone became interested in the topic of making beautiful bouquets of sweets, paper, ribbons and, the theme-symbol of 2015 in the form of a lamb, making a souvenir-pincushion.

Lidia Artashina and Elena Lushneva, library staff, held a retro evening called Melodies of the Old Gramophone. The concert program "Musical Assortment" from NGIEI students delighted the audience with its energy. The incendiary, creative dance of Natalia Fedorova and the vocal performance by the duet of Eleonora Gorkovenko and Dmitry Konstantinov gave the evening a truly festive mood.

"The echo of our youth" called Maya Kristalinsky poet Robert Rozhdestvensky. And it was to her that the literary and musical composition "In the song - my life" was dedicated, which was carried out by the head. otd. service L. Artashin and librarian M. Fomichev.

Over a cup of tea, the guests could get acquainted with the video sketches of "Walks around the native land." These are various paintings, architecture buildings, music, dancing, design and much more that surrounds us. But, few people think about the fact that these are far from all the features of art. It is capable give knowledge give experience and wisdom. It is art that gives knowledge. It is not necessary to do it, to create masterpieces yourself. For the fourth year MBUK "Leningrad inter-settlement library" takes part in the All-Russian cultural and educational action "Night of the Arts". This year it was held under the motto "Time to Create". The main events of the action were timed to coincide with the Year of Russian Cinema and the Day of National Unity.

In order to minimize the distance between art and the reader, support the literary process and promote reading, organize new formats for spending free time, the doors of the libraries of the Leningrad region were open to everyone from 18.00 to 23.00.

Particularly interesting and extensive were the programs presented by the Central Library named after B.E. Tumasov and the Central Children's Library.

The "Beauty Autumn" served as an inspiring start for holding interactive platforms and master classes in the Central Children's Library. “Autumn time is the charm of the eyes ...” - in these words there is a variety of autumn palette, and the sweetness of the poetic lines of our classics, and a storehouse of folk wisdom, and the song of the soul of a Russian person who never ceases to be surprised at the diversity of the wonders of our nature.

The literary game library "Autumn Kaleidoscope" was opened with games about the signs of autumn. On this site, children competed in vigilance and attentiveness, in knowledge of proverbs, sayings and poems about autumn, with the help of pantomime they depicted autumn phenomena: the farewell dance of cranes, how a bear and a hamster are preparing for winter.

He continued the event "Poetic Vernissage". Children put together a puzzle picture of an autumn leaf to read the lines of poetry printed on the back. The task of the listeners is to remember the author and the title of the poem, to continue it.

In the creative workshop "Autumn Palette" everyone could make an autumn postcard: a gouache drawing on a maple leaf or an application "Autumn Forest" from colored paper. Here was where to roam children's imagination. Chrysanthemums bloomed on maple leaves, then still lifes of fruits and vegetables appeared, then entire landscape sketches. Handmade postcards will take their rightful place in the home collections of our readers.

Visitors of all ages took part with great pleasure in the master class on making amulet dolls from rags. This site was organized in the "Cossack's Hut" and included an exhibition of literature on the history of art, folk art in the Kuban and do-it-yourself doll making technology. The exhibition was complemented by ready-made crafts - a variety of dolls made by the master and children. The teacher of the children's art school Tatyana Viktorovna Ivashchenko supervised the master class. Visitors could take all the crafts with them.

Next to the workshop there is a cozy photo studio "Queen Autumn". Each visitor was able to create his own image of the "Queen of Autumn" and take a picture in this role. To create images, a background corresponding to the autumn palette was selected, a frame was decorated, wreaths of leaves and fruits, a colorful shawl, baskets with fruits and autumn flowers were prepared.

An exhibition of photographs of various library events of this year was placed on the stylized "wall" of the photo studio. All visitors who found themselves in the photographs could receive a sweet prize.

A cozy chamber atmosphere was created in the senior reading room. Here, in the twilight, away from the noise and din of the children's toy library, teenagers and adults were invited to participate in the interactive quiz "Autumn time - the charm of the eyes ...".

In the prologue part, visitors were offered an overview of the exhibition "The World of the Writer on the Big Screen", from which they learned what famous works by A.S. Pushkin, L.N. Tolstoy, N.V. Gogol received tickets to the world in a new capacity: a feature film, a fairy tale film, an animated film. The review included the names of famous domestic directors and actors.

The questions of the interactive quiz were conditionally divided into thematic blocks and invariably boiled down to reading poems about autumn. So, in the block "Autumn Poetry" they recalled the authors and the title of the given lines; in the "Autumn Palette" they talked about the masterpieces of painting and the names of artists whose works were inspired by autumn; famous songs and romances based on poems by Russian poets sounded in "Melodies of Autumn". At the end of the quiz, we jointly created the literary "Fabulous Harvest", remembering Russian folk tales.

Central Library. B.E. Tumasova invited everyone to recite their favorite works in an open microphone "Thin threads of the soul ...", the most popular authors of which were L. Rubalskaya, S. Yesenin, V. Tushnova and others. So, the rector of the church of the New Martyrs, Father Konstantin, quoted A. Blok, the dean of the churches of the Uman district, the rector of the Church of the Three Hierarchs Nikolai Chmelenko - poems by Orthodox authors, and a participant in the Literary Lounge and a regular reader of the library V.I. Fedchenko recited some of her favorite love poems by heart.

The hand-made shop "Lavochka hand-made" enjoyed great popularity among the guests of the action. All of them could take part in a master class on making kanzashi-style brooches for the National Unity Day.

In addition, everyone was able to take a virtual journey through books at the Time of Wanderings station, visit the photo exhibition of the Yesenia salon, the book exhibition Pearls of Art, which presented books about various types of art: cinema, theater, circus, architecture, literature. And in the updated mini-museum of the writer-historian B.E. Tumasov, one could not only take a creative photo, but also get acquainted with his books, manuscripts, letters from readers.

The reading room of the library was united by a single theme - "The Year of Russian Cinema".

In the mini cinema museum, the guests of the action learned about the history of cinematography, got acquainted with a slide projector, video recorder and other rare things. It was also possible to take part in a quiz on the history of cinema, an adapted version of the film program "Cinema in Detail". In the sector of local history, folk songs were performed by the exemplary group of folk choral singing "Uman Cossacks", and the famous film "Kuban Cossacks" was also shown.

The interactive platform "Kinoantrakt" invited everyone to answer the questions of the quiz, collect puzzles, guess the melodies from the films.

With great pleasure, our guests took part in screen tests. They were asked to voice the selected excerpt from the film on their own, having previously listened to its original.

This evening did not go unnoticed by the public of our village. Thus, the guests of the action were: local historian, honored journalist of the Kuban, writer V.V. Ter; Deputy of the Council of the Leningrad region, director of the music school I.A. Gorelko; Priest Nikolai Chmelenko, Dean of the Churches of the Uman District; Rector of the Church of the New Martyrs and Confessors of the Russian Church Priest Konstantin Maltsev, media representatives. All of them took part with pleasure in all the events held within the framework of the action.
